Want to drive a bus for City Kidz, but don’t have a bus license? We can help!

Each week thousands of children from across the city ride a City Kidz bus to the Playhouse Theatre on Sherman Ave.  When asked what their favourite thing about City Kidz is, many children have told us that it’s the “Big Red Bus”.  Without buses, and drivers to operate them, our children would never experience the life transforming City Kidz experience.  We need your help!  Would you consider becoming a City Kidz bus driver? To operate a City Kidz bus the Ministry of Transportation requires a C class license.  This enables you to drive any regular bus (not a yellow school bus) with designed capacity for more than 24 passengers.  You must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid non-probationary driver’s license for Ontario and in addition to this City Kidz bus drivers need to have a good driving record and be safety minded.  It also helps if you’ve had previous experience with kids! Lastly, check your schedule!  Are you available to volunteer to drive for City Kidz at least twice each month on Saturday for a minimum of 4 hours?
