For over 15 years City Kidz has been impacting the lives of children living in Hamilton’s inner city. We’ve always believed that every child, no matter their circumstance, deserves the opportunity to achieve greatness and fulfill their God given potential. Because of this, we are motivated to do all we can to transform the lives of inner-city children, break the cycle of hopelessness and end child poverty.

As you journey through this website, you will discover the mission, the vision and all the things that we value most. You will have the opportunity to learn about the core impact programs, and the unique projects that are building resiliency in the lives of our kids. WE ARE ONE (founder Nicholas Bellamy) is a ground-breaking global art project involving thousands of artists who each, using their artistic individuality and talent, will unite together to produce a truly enormous, inspirational and worldwide piece of art… (a single yet collective masterpiece that bridges and bonds the world in which we all live). ‘WE ARE ONE’ is not about individual artists creating towards their own success or financial gain… this is purely about creating a GLOBAL CREATIVE HARMONY, and collectively producing an AMAZING HISTORIC PLANETARY WONDER. The concept is to prove to a wide-eyed world audience that through art, positivity and creative unity, we can all illustrate a history making and inspirational message to every person on Earth.

The evening will include a fashion show showcasing; Jason Meyers’ (Project Runway, LG Fashion Week, Dare to Wear) fabulous Spring 2010 collection. We encourage you to take a peak at his website: www.JasonMeyers.net and also Rainbow Bridal of Hamilton, who are also showcasing their Spring 2010 collection of Bridal and Bridal Party gowns featuring the amazing designs of renowned Bridal Designer Maggie Sottero.

The evenings guest speakers; T.N. Mohan (Multiple Award winning Director/Writer/Producer T. N. Mohan has utilized his comprehensive knowledge, skills and experience of over thirty years in the field of film and television production to create over twenty multiple award winning productions in a career that spans four continents and more than twenty countries), as well as Hamilton’s own Judge Thomas R. Sutherland Q.C. who is actively involved in the community helping the needy in any way he can.

In addition to the fashion show, there will be a live and silent auction, live entertainment, fine dining, dancing, vendors and more!!

The summer Mitchell will remember!

Mitchell (age 10) is one of the over 270 children who were given the opportunity to go to camp this year. Throughout the year, our City Kidz team builds relationships with not only our children but with churches, camps and organizations, and then we link the 2 together; matching the interests and dreams of the children to the camp opportunities that are available.

More Child Sponsors wanted for City Kidz

Tania Bardati, an educational assistant, says she was “blown away” by City Kidz during a tour in June. She loved the dedication and enthusiasm shown to each child. “We all help Haiti (and other areas) … but this is in our own back yard.” Poor countries still need help, she added, but “to see it in our back yard, this, to me, is a priority.”
