For over 15 years City Kidz has been impacting the lives of children living in Hamilton’s inner city. We’ve always believed that every child, no matter their circumstance, deserves the opportunity to achieve greatness and fulfill their God given potential. Because of this, we are motivated to do all we can to transform the lives of inner-city children, break the cycle of hopelessness and end child poverty.

As you journey through this website, you will discover the mission, the vision and all the things that we value most. You will have the opportunity to learn about the core impact programs, and the unique projects that are building resiliency in the lives of our kids. Lakeport Community Hero of the Week….City Kidz’s Lynda Tarves!!

Each week Lakeport / Labbatts will spotlight people making a difference in our community! City Kidz’s volunteer extraordinaire Lynda Tarves was recognized this week as a Lakeport’s Community Hero! From organizing CITY KIDZ fundraisers….tracking down silent auction donations….organizing teams of volunteers….sponsoring children in need….working financials for the Mad4Maddie charity….serving breakfast at Healthy Snacks programs to ensure hungry school kids get fed. Lynda Tarves is the quintessential volunteer…..inspired to help when she noticed the need, committed to the various causes for the sheer joy of helping others.

Lynda is an inspiration to her family, a trusted co-worker at the Teachers Credit Union, and now Lynda Tarves is recognized as one of our LAKEPORT HAMILTON HEROES! Way to go Lynda!! We are proud to call you one of OURS!!

Annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the IRC Group and held this year at Heron Point Golf Links in Alberton, Ontario.
