City Kidz Saturdays
City Kidz Saturday is more than just a kids program, it’s an experience. Our dream is that City Kidz™ Saturdays would be an experience where children feel safe, protected, cared for, and loved. A magical place, where dreams take flight, freeing each child to soar above all problems, all hardships, all difficulties. A place so electric, a child can’t help but feel the very presence of God, feeling alive and full of joy. A place to learn about and receive God’s grace, mercy, and His everlasting love. Our dream is that each child would understand and hold on to God’s plan and purposes for their lives.
Our mission carries these four simple objectives:
- to inspire each child to believe that God loves them and has a plan for their lives,
- that we love them and care what happens to them,
- that it’s great to be a kid, and okay to have fun,
- that when presented with a choice, always do what’s right.
Our overall objective is to impart and instill positive Christian values. We believe God has a plan and a destiny for each child, and we hope, through the Saturday initiative, to inspire children to dream beyond their circumstances, and reach their God given potential.
Saturdays are meant to facilitate large groups of children. The teaching content is aimed at children between the ages of 7-10 however kids as young as 5 and as old as 12 will still benefit from the experience. The program requires high amounts of energy, and while firmly structured, it is also fully interactive. Children have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the program, receiving incentives such as prizes for participating and learning the principles being taught. For over ten years we have been refining and tightening this process in order to create a highly effective experience that imparts and instills positive core values.

FAQs
“Do City Kidz Saturdays run every single week?”
Because of the amount of planning and work that goes into our Saturday programs to make them the absolute best that we can, we can only provide the City Kidz Saturday program for 28 weeks of the year. We do, however, take our breaks during holidays and through the summer when children tend to be busier on the weekends anyways.
“What happens when City Kidz is off program?”
When we aren’t running our City Kidz Saturday programs, our children are still our number 1 priority! Our team captains and volunteers are still dedicated to our home visit program giving each child a personal visit in their home where we build important relationships. In addition, City Kidz is proud to announce the launch of our brand new website, The Big Red Bus, where every week that we are not holding a City Kidz Saturday, we post videos, the City Kidz Pledge, songs and much more for our children to look forward to viewing.
