If there is one thing kids love to celebrate, it’s their birthday.  Keeping with our philosophy that City Kidz™ is all about relationships, and  family, then it only stands to reason that we would be celebrating all of our kid’s birthdays.  It’s the one time of the year that they have a real reason to feel individually special, and an opportunity for us to reinforce our message that each child matters, that each child is specially created, with purpose and with a destiny.  Operation Birthday Child is an initiative to help us do just that, celebrate the life of each child.

Once each month during the regular City Kidz Saturday season, a party is thrown in honor of the children who are celebrating birthdays.  Each child receives an invitation the week before, and encouraged to invite their friends.  On the day of the party each birthday child receives a birthday hat and a V.I.P. pass to the backstage birthday room.  Once in the birthday room each child chooses their very own present and then they are greeted by the City Kidz birthday team who makes it known to all how special each child is.
