These are the daily realities for many of the youth we serve.
On Wednesday evenings, something extraordinary happens at our CityYouth program. Nearly 100 young people, each carrying their own story of struggle and hope, hop off the CityKidz’ big red bus and arrive at our youth studio. Inside, chatter and excitement fill the space while youth enjoy a meal, connect with their friends and mentors and dive into lessons that inspire growth and resilience.

Redina’s journey began years ago when she first joined CityKidz. Now, at 16, she not only thrives as a CityYouth participant but also serves as a Jr. Leader, mentoring younger children with warmth and wisdom. “I hang out with the kids and show myself to be a good role model,” she says. “I care about them and want them to be safe and to enjoy it.”
Through CityYouth’s lessons, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, Redina has flourished. “CityKidz has helped me succeed and get to where I am right now,” she shares. She is living proof of the transformative power your support can unlock.
