Summer camp is an opportunity for children to try new things, make new friends, expand their interests and nurture their talents.
For children growing up in low-income households, summer camp is also a rare chance for them to put down their burdens and boredom and experience adventure beyond their local park, backyard or apartment unit.
This summer, CityKidz wants to give 200 of our children the uplifting, life-changing and memory-making experience of summer camp!
Your gift will help us provide 200 CityKidz children with:
- Two full days (day camp) of games, crafts, songs, and outdoor play
- Door-to-door transportation on our big red buses
- A full, hearty breakfast and lunch as well as snacks throughout the day
- A unique Camp CityKidz souvenir t-shirt (plus lots of extra treats and surprises)

All families want to give their children summer experiences that will bring them joy. But all too often, barriers of poverty and accessibility prevent children from knowing a summer beyond their immediate neighbourhood.
Camp CityKidz will give a precious child the chance to discover unexpected talents, explore new interests, and make lifelong friends. It will provide an opportunity for them to make memories to last a lifetime!
